Double eccentric butterfly valve, serie 756

AVK double eccentric butterfly valves with tilted disc are designed for easy operation and long service life. The disc seal is made of AVK's drinking water approved EPDM rubber featuring an excellent compression set and ability to regain the original shape. The high quality epoxy coating and fully encapsulated shaft/disc connection ensure optimal corrosion protection and durability. FEATURES - Double eccentric design releases seal compression after only few degrees of opening resulting in low operating torque - Disc firmly fixed to the shaft to prevent fluttering and a slight tilt allows for precise adjustment of the closed position - Disc seal profile and rubber quality ensure low closing torque - All rubber parts drinking water approved by multiple institutes - Fasteners in stainless steel, A2 - Stainless steel shaft and seal retainer ring - Machined and epoxy coated ductile iron seat integrated in the body - All threaded connections are sealed with O-rings for protection against medium and environment - Radial bearings in self-lubricating PTFE/bronze composite - Shaft ends fitted with an end cover that keeps the shaft in position against system pressure and seals the disc interior against corrosion - Replaceable shaft seals with two EPDM O-rings; gaskets to the exterior in hydrocarbon resistant NBR - Coated with blue RAL 5017 FBE to DIN 3476, GSK and approved by WRAS-DVGW/W270/UBA, 250µm - Drinking water approved by DVGW and WRAS, drinking water approved by KIWA

Consultancy, design, implementation, and renovation. Clean drinking water is vital. The infrastructure that makes this possible begins underground, and we help build it. We design, implement, and renovate drinking water pipes that meet the highest quality standards. Whether it's a new route or a replacement project, we combine technical expertise with practical experience and a strong focus on safety and collaboration. Through smart planning and close coordination with our partners, we ensure minimal disruption and efficient execution.

The main activities consist of laying cables, pipelines and implementing house connections for all kinds of utility services, including the associated ground and paving work. Within our Energy activity, we not only carry out assignments for the urban distribution of these basic services, but also the house connections. Minimal disruption, smooth coordination, maximum quality and safety are paramount. Facilitating energy transition Our activities play an important role in the energy transition, the switch from fossil fuels to renewable energy sources. This translates into the development of energy networks for local energy generation or the network of charging stations for electric driving. We are an important partner for the introduction of the digital meter, which will be the energy transition in every home helps realise. The activities within Energy revolve around the creation of an integrated environment of smart systems.

      Energy Transition

The consequences of climate change are now clearly visible worldwide, and it's clear that action is needed. The government has formulated the Climate Act, private individuals are launching their own initiatives, and the installation sector is increasingly demanding sustainable energy systems. This necessitates technological innovations and, above all, a large number of technically well-trained professionals. For this reason, Dirksen offers training courses in sustainable installations. At the vocational (MBO) level, participants learn not only to install, maintain, and inspect systems, but also the ICT aspects of an installation. For example, they learn to integrate a new system into a TCP/IP network to control it. This allows them to monitor and adjust it, and even control it with home automation. The higher professional education (HBO) modules cover either larger systems or a more in-depth understanding of applied technologies important to the energy transition.

Our engineers are responsible for the technical development and preparation of underground pipeline construction projects. They translate design principles and client requirements into feasible, safe, and sustainable solutions. From route design and detailed engineering to technical calculations and coordination with clients and implementation teams: engineering forms the foundation for successful implementation. Regulations, safety, the environment, and practical feasibility are constantly taken into account. This ensures that every project is not only technically sound on paper but also functions reliably and efficiently outdoors.
