Growing together by strengthening each other
At APK Group, it’s never about just one person. Strong projects are created when colleagues complement, seek out, and trust one another. You can see this every day in the collaboration between Myrthe (environmental coordinator) and Dimitri (work supervisor). Two different roles, one shared mission: ensuring projects run smoothly for residents, clients, and colleagues alike.
When Myrthe started six months ago, she entered a world full of new terms and techniques. “The more projects I take on, the more fun it becomes,” she says. “You learn something new every day. Because we work so closely together, I increasingly understand what’s needed for both the environment and the team.” Dimitri has been working at APK J. Daniëls since 2022 and built the new PILS workflow from scratch. “We created a lot from the ground up,” he explains. “That means you depend on each other, and that’s exactly where trust is built.”
Within the PILS projects, technology, environment, engineering, planning, and execution all come together. The impact of the work on the surroundings is significant: streets are opened up, local residents have questions, and APK teams follow tight schedules. And when things get challenging? “You tackle difficult situations together,” Dimitri adds. “No one has to do it alone.”
Why their collaboration works
It simply clicks. They communicate openly, respect each other’s perspectives, and take shared responsibility for the bigger picture. As Dimitri puts it: “We really can’t do without each other anymore. The environmental and technical aspects are closely intertwined. We truly do this together.” What stands out is how natural their collaboration feels. No complicated structures, just short lines of communication, trust, and humor. That’s what makes projects run better and allows everyone to grow. That’s exactly what APK Group stands for: finding your path together and continuing to do so.
