Deep-well dewatering

Deepwell dewatering can be applied to lower the groundwater level in large and/or deep excavation pits. Deepwell dewatering is also used at locations with a large inflow of groundwater from coarse layers and strong water-draining aquifers. A deepwell consists of a drilled well in which a submersible pump is installed.
