The collaboration with the launching partners at InfraNXT came about due to the urgent need for more awareness and personnel in the underground infrastructure sector. With an overheated market and project delays as a result, it was time for action. The launching partners, consisting of leading contractors, water companies and grid operators, joined forces in a collective and contacted event organizer Easyfairs for participation in InfraNXT. Inspired by successful initiatives in the Northern part of the Netherlands, they saw the opportunity to create a specialized event in the South of the Netherlands, with a focus on sustainability and the energy and water transition.
