Education & Training Providers

About us

Koning Willem I College is a secondary vocational education provider (MBO) serving the regions of 's-Hertogenbosch, Oss, Meijerstad, Land van Cuijk, Uden, Boxtel, and, starting next school year, Tiel. The school offers a wide range of study programs in various fields, such as technology, care & welfare, economics & entrepreneurship, ICT, hospitality, creative arts, and safety. The college works closely with regional businesses to ensure that education and practice are well aligned. Learning in real-world work contexts, internships, and practical projects play an important role in this. A key theme within the college is LLO – Lifelong Learning. This means that learning does not stop after a diploma but is a continuous process throughout a person's career. Koning Willem I College addresses this through the Koningsacademie. Koningsacademie responds to this by: Offering flexible learning pathways, including for working professionals and adults; enabling upskilling and reskilling in collaboration with companies; offering modular programs and courses that align with changing labor market demands; and investing in continuous development paths so that students and professionals can continue to grow. LLO is therefore not only an educational vision, but also a connecting principle between the school, students, and the region. The college sees itself as a knowledge partner for both young people and adults who wish to continue their development. The atmosphere at Koning Willem I College is often characterized by a professional yet accessible learning environment. Attention is paid to personal guidance, talent development, and a safe learning environment. Students are encouraged to take responsibility for their own learning process and to work together on their future.
